The 6F System for Website Design

For Humans & AI Retrieval Search

Written 13 December 2025
Let's dive in!

So you have started a new business in Australia. Or you want to relaunch a new website.
Where do you start? .
A website is your 24 hour sales person. A digital presence showcasing your business – and its offerings. The gateway to your business.
How do you create a great website for your business? Do you need to pay a website designer at least $2,000 to get started. Then pay ongoing hosting and amendment fees – either monthly or annually. And often wait months before your site is ready.
“Website designers” typically come from a technical background. They do not advise on the content of your site. Letting you do, I say, “all the hard work” of identifying the right content for your site to gain traction with your audience.

"Drag-and-drop" platforms now use AI to help you generate your content. It’s not originating from your voice – and looks like many other websites - as you need to choose your template. While looking like a “cheap” alternative to start a simple website – simple add-ons cost more and more each month and year and end up costing your business more in the long run. Plus mandatory add-ons such as continuing your business email, hosting, SSL certificates - you pay from the second year onwards. You also have to work out how to use the editorial features once you decide what changes you want to make - and not yet designed for AI optimisation.

So what is the solution?

I am a business person first, a tech marketing person second. The 6W System is a web design strategy model I developed by adapting the classic 5W1H analytical method specifically for modern websites. I have used this process to create many of my websites (see below). Does it suit your business?
Here are three of my websites using the 6W Framework:

  • . PandaSearch.com.au

  • . PandaSearchAdvertising.com.au

  • . Panda-AI.com.au

  • They all have a similar format – what I call “The 6F System for Website Design”. It is a “user-centric” and strategic design process related to my business of PANDA. It teaches humans to write the way machines understand - and your users or customers of course!! (SEO strategies are very "tech-centric" - but still important)
I describe it as a “smart” framework that put simply, presents the "How, Why, When, Where, What" of your business. As inspired by the advertising and journalism industries.

The 6W Framework for Website Design

Question Word Purpose in Website Design Example Questions
Who Identify the target audience Who is the website for? What are their needs, problems, or goals?
What Define the content and goals What is the purpose of the website? What content is required?
Why Clarify the value and motivation Why does this website need to exist?
    Why will users choose you?
WIIFM (What’s in it for me?)
Where Consider platforms and access points What locations do you service?
Where will users access the site (mobile, desktop, tablet)?
When Plan the timeline and user journey When will users visit?
When should features or updates be introduced?
Wow & How Create engagement and drive action How can you wow your customers?
    How will users contact you?
What calls to action will you use?
Is the interface intuitive and easy to navigate?

How to apply the 6W Framework to Your Business
Here is how I did it.

    1. Brainstorm the How, Why, When, Where, What of your business.
After some brainstorming, you will need to complete this template in Excel. Download Here.
To brainstorm, use one of those big scrapbooks (typically used for drawings).
    Tear out 6 pages.
    Lay them on a table.
Write a title label each scrapbook page – Who, What, Why, Where, When, Wow and How.
Then brainstorm and answer each question. Do not delegate this task. It is the business owner (or equivalent marketing person in consultation) who should complete this part of the task.

    2. Transfer to an Excel spreadsheet.
When you’re happy with it – transfer all your content into an Excel spreadsheet. At this point the content does not need to be “pretty”. It’s really more a content dump. You can review now and edit until you are satisfied with the end result. That is, you have answered the questions – Who, What, Why, Where, When, Wow and How of your business.

    3. Create your Headlines
    This is very important.
Up the top of your spreadsheet, develop and write up the following for each column:
    • Headline – important for search engine optimisation of your site and attracting attention of your customer – start with the what or the why
    • Sub-headline – explain your headline
    • Call to action – what should your customers do e.g. phone, email, enquiry form
    • Urgency and exclusivity – why should your customers act now, what makes your business different or exclusive to others?

You may wish to use AI to assist you at this point. However please ensure your voice is authentic.

    4. Set up another Excel spreadsheet, with the same template - and create sales copy text from the brainstorming content. Again, feel free to use AI to help with new ideas. This is the most difficult part. However at the end of the day, you will appreciate how this framing of content will help you in the long run to communicate the value of your business.

    5. Use this sales copy content to feed into your new website. It is the core of your website design.

If you send your Excel spreadsheet to Panda-AI, we will set up your website, similar in look and feel to the 3 websites I mentioned previously.

You have completed the design first. We will look after the tech.
Or, we can do the "sales copy" part of it for you.

Contact us for a quotation to create your website.
Email us at hello@panda-ai.com.au. We'll talk you through next steps.

We will provide a very competitive quote, no obligation, to provide you with a mobile-friendly (responsive is the "tech" word) website (including hosting, business email, SSL etc) – one that truly represents your business and has built-in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation). We can also quote on video production, images, etc as part of your package.

    Any Other Components?

Are there any other components you want to replicate the process?
Is it just one website for you? What about your social pages – Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram etc.
My components added up to 5 in total. So I replicated the process for all 5. With 5 columns on my Excel worksheet.
Here is an image of my table and brainstorming.

Do you sell your products or services to other businesses - or want to expand your markets to B2B?

In the B2B (Business-to-Business) world, both AI (search) and your human customers, scan your website to see if they are the right supplier fit for them. For their market and location. This can be chaotic and expensive to add landing pages to your website that "serves all your business customers". For example, you need seperate landing pages - that are complete for humans and AI to understand - for each market you service - e.g. Schools, Clubs, Medical.

This is where the Panda Search platform comes in. As you set up one Business Profile - you then clone that information across to all your preferred customer markets to save you time and money. The search pages are also optimised for AI as you have made it clear to both humans and AI search - that you are a "X Supplier", for example, School Supplier - by listing on SchoolSuppliers.com.au. Also provides links to your website, Social Pages, Product links, blogs etc on the Panda Search platform. All tailored to "fit" your preferred business customers. This simple action will provide more quality B2B leads for your business. Including more quality backlinks to supercharge your SEO.
